Workshop presented by Jean Jordan a naturopath and chronic pain therapist is designed for those who have to go to work daily and take their persistent pain with them.
Understanding how the brain is involved (or keeping you in pain) in persistent pain.
Different Treatment ideas have emerged during the past 20 years that are based around neuroplasticity. That is how the brain creates pain and pain messages provide variety of pain conditions.
Monthly workshops will introduce you to information and knowledge about how neural pathways develop in the brain and can influence the journey of chronic pain and how it can impact on your work, life, and family.
o Unable to get a diagnosis.
o Told there's nothing wrong.
o There is no cure for ongoing symptoms.
o Have conditions that no longer respond to treatment.
o Been told they have to live with their chronic pain.
o No medical treatment has made any difference to symptoms.
This workshop is a friendly informal meeting and would be a good idea to bring your notepad to take some of the ideas away with you.
What if there are ways to improve how your brain works, easy effective techniques you can use at home, at work or at play?
Hi, I’m Jean Jordan.

An experienced Educational Kinesiologist, Naturopath and Brain Gym Consultant (AKA me) for over 20 years.
When I trained in Pain Management, Postgraduate study at Otago University it gave me an opportunity to understand the medical treatment in New Zealand.
I believe this can be improved with more patient input and doctors and physiotherapists learning about neural pathways of chronic pain.
In 2023 I joined the "Freedom for Chronic Group" run by Howard Schubiner whose ideas aligned with my own experience.
